AUTHOR BIO
In addition to writing supernatural thrillers for adults, Jeff Gunhus is also the author of the Middle Grade/YA series The Templar Chronicles. (www.jacktemplar.com) The first book, Jack Templar Monster Hunter, was written in an effort to get his reluctant reader eleven-year old son excited about reading. It worked and a new series was born and recognized as a 2012 Forward Reviews Book of the Year Finalist. Jeff has been a Stephen King and Dean Koontz fan since he was a kid reading their novels under the covers at night. Seeing Night Chill next to King and Koontz on the Amazon Bestseller lists has been a surreal experience. He leads an active lifestyle in Maryland with his wife Nicole and five incredible kids. In rare moments of quiet, he can be found in the back of the City Dock Cafe in Annapolis working on his next novel.

Night Chill is the perfect title for this book; you WILL have chills while reading it. Deliciously creepy, I was hooked from the beginning, especially after the incident at the rest stop. WHY IS IT ALWAYS AT REST STOPS?

Jack Tremont's family is subjected to a nightmare, an absolute nightmare. Not only is their youngest daughter, Sarah, threatened, but also Jack's marriage. In a small town where they are new, it is impossible to know whom they can trust and depend on to help them. And when the one you love turns on you, what can you do? What will a father do to protect his child?

There were moments of intense apprehension and anticipation in this novel that had me burying my nose in my kindle, convinced if I could just get closer to the words, I'd have the answer and I wouldn't be jumping out of my skin. With a backdrop story of mythology and legends from ancient times, a spectacularly creepy cave hiding a millennium of horrifying deeds reaching into present times, this novel is sure to keep you turning the pages. It certainly did for me.
